Ali Akbar Abdolmaleki is one of Iran’s distinguished private-sector leaders, with more than two decades of influential experience in trade, economic diplomacy, and the development of international cooperation. He currently serves as the President of the Sanandaj Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture and the Head of the International Tourism Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) of Iran.

Throughout four consecutive terms as a Member of the Board of Representatives of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th terms), Mr. Abdolmaleki has played a remarkable role in economic policymaking, strengthening the private sector, and expanding the country’s international engagement.

As the Chairman of the Tourism and Related Businesses Commission of the Iran Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of the Tourism Commission of the ECO Chambers of Commerce, he has made significant contributions to the professionalization and development of the tourism industry, as well as the enhancement of its infrastructure at both national and regional levels.

In addition, Mr. Abdolmaleki is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Association of Tourism Experts, a Member of the National Health Tourism Strategic Council, and a Member of the Policy Council of Iran’s National Culinary Tourism Committee—reflecting his comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to tourism and sustainable development.

In the field of economic diplomacy, Mr. Abdolmaleki has participated in more than fifty international trade delegations, playing a key role in building global networks and fostering effective connections between Iranian and foreign business communities. His position on the Board of Directors of the Iran-Japan Chamber of Commerce further highlights his distinguished status in international economic relations.

Beyond his chamber responsibilities, he also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shana Gasht Travel Agency and the Vice Chairman of Safar.com Travel Services Company. With a focus on innovation, sustainable development, and creating new opportunities in global markets, he is recognized as one of the pioneers in integrating trade and tourism.
